Senior Oracle Developer/ Team Leader


Team Leader level
Coach and lead the local datamarts (Finance, CRM, SBV) team working with Oracle RDBMS, Kafka, Camunda, Airflow, PowerBI, GIT
Contribute to, manage and implement company data strategy, data governance and security from local datamart point of view
Guide a team towards self-organization, support prioritization and delivery tracking through transparent team backlog tracked in JIRA
Oversee activities ranging from business analysis and consultancy over development to production operation and incident handling
Be accountable for a technical part of datamart
Continuously move the team forward personally and technologically
Work with local and global team and peers to fulfill the company IT strategy
Collect business requirements
Analyze and Design data architect to build up local datamart or data replication from local to DWH/DM
Implement and monitor ETL processes
Maintain and optimize performance to ensure data qualities and readiness for business users
Consult best practices for data analysts/local developers in terms of DB
Guide/training data analysts how to work well on DWH/DM
Work directly with all departments to solve/fix issues related to DB
Following SBV/Audit requirements
Write user manual, data models, technical documentations
Participate on IT and business projects
Provide supports during developing/testing and deployment of system changes


Team Leader level
Previous experience with leading a data warehouse, datamarts, business intelligence or data analytics team
Good knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle RDBMS and ecosystem, GIT-based database version control, CI/CD pipelines, data integration (CSV, Kafka, Airflow), transformation and vizualization tools (PowerBI).
Ready to put your hands on to solve the problem
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field
Fluent English
5+ years in a software development environment preferably involving cross-team dependencies.
Thorough understanding and appreciation for the Agile values and principles
You’re comfortable around people, your domain expertise coexists with your strong ability to negotiate, influence and provide feedback
You prefer trusting people and empowerment over micro-management
You seek continuous improvement - Constantly learning to grow your expertise, yourself, and your team.

Direct experience working in a financial services organization including financial and regulatory reporting
Data Warehouse design and techniques to keep high precision reports in loosely coupled microservice-oriented architecture
Infrastructure-as-a-code & automation
Advanced Oracle RDBMS enterprise-level scaling and performance tuning knowledge
At least 3+ years of experience as a Database Developer/ PL SQL Developer or similar roles  
Hands-on experience with Oracle 
Experience in getting and analyzing business requirements 
Good communication in English 
Experiences with reporting tools, Data Warehouse/Data Mart


Monthly allowance (600k)
